Entry Level Certificate in Digital Literacy

The OCR Entry Level Certificate in Digital Literacy (Entry 3) has been designed to assess basic computer concepts and skills so that candidates' knowledge, understanding and skills are recognised and they gain confidence in using computer technology in everyday life. This helps to develop new social and economic opportunities for themselves, their families, and their communities.

This qualification consists of one single unit covering the all the five courses of the Microsoft digital literacy curriculum. Formative tests on the 5 components of the digital literacy curriculum (Computer Basics, The Internet and World Wide Web, Productivity Programs, Computer Security and Privacy, Digital Lifestyles) are included in Microsoft's online resource, with OCR providing an accredited final summative test to confirm the candidates' knowledge and understanding.
